Through learning, gathering, and serving, Global Christian Connexion (formerly World Convention) works to bring Christian Churches, Disciples of Christ, and Churches of Christ (and other like-minded Churches) together in effective mission efforts.

Join Us in Learning and Serving in Poland
Two years. It seems impossible that the war in Ukraine - which we all thought was impossible until February 24, 2022 - is still ongoing. We have been supporting churches from the US that have wanted to volunteer in Poland since the war began. Connecting churches and facilitating meaningful service and learning opportunities has been a blessing. We see the continued need to come alongside local churches, serve newly arriving refugee families, and connect resources for greater impact.

We believe the church's unified efforts in responding to global needs should include pooling resources for the greatest impact through local churches. Help Reopen Refugee Center in Przemyśl
The increased bombing of civilian targets in Ukraine is pushing more women, children, and the elderly to flee Ukraine. In the coldest part of the year, the primary location for shelter is currently the train station in Przemyśl, Poland. Help us reopen a local center that can provide beds, food, emergency first aid, and support as families make decisions on what to do next.

Our Global Churches Participation in Poland
In 2024 we are inviting our sister Churches from around the world to join us in Poland to serve alongside Polish and Ukrainian believers. There are still millions of refugees living in Poland, some newly arriving and others in the midst of trying to settle for as long as the war persists. Some of our Churches will have difficulty participating due to the high costs of flights. Be part of the demonstration of the unity of the Church in this continuing crisis.
